Red poem

This week we made short poems about colours I made mine about red.

At first I was going to do purple but I had no good ideas so I changed it to red.

the first thing that came to mind was roses then blood so I made a poem about that.

The next couple of things I had trouble with I thought about fire,cars and Anger.

I thought I would be able to come up with more because reds my favorite colour but it was actually pretty hard, What can you come up with?

For a practice we did the colour Blue,Mine was...

Blue is my eyes fluttering open like a butterfly flying for the first time, As I awake from a slumber.

I know it could use some work but I still really like it.

Last Friday Was the family Fiesta and people could make cupcakes for people to bid on. I made Unicorn Cupcakes And i'm really impressed, It was my first time using fondant.

Term 1 Week 5

My Math Improvement

Ever since school started up again I've been tracking down my score and I'm really proud.

I started at 78 and now I'm 100. I love having competitions with my friends, Megan is winning right now with 100 in 2 minutes something.

Now I just have to improve my time.

For Tech I started in cooking, it started off really easy with fruit kebabs, 

then we made chocolate carrot cupcakes. It was so yum and cool to make,

Afterwards we had to make a site and I love mine so far.

I cant wait to see what we make next week!

Looking Back....

Hello and welcome to the last week of The year.

By far the best thing of this year was the camp. There were many Exciting things that happened. I loved Body Boarding  and doing a bridge on the water or even kayaking. I even made one of my best friends at camp!

Im really proud That I did more athletic things such as Basketball pushing myself for cross country and just trying my hardest. Im also proud of how much I worked on finishing my work on time!

My goal for 2019,
I really need to work on my reading so I'm going to get more library books out my main goal is to get at least one book out a week.

I want to say goodbye to all the year 8's,
Most of my friends are year 8's and i'm going to miss them I hope they have fun and we'll all miss them.
